Iran says it seeks an exemption from any production cuts reached by OPEC

      Iran's oil minister, Zangani, told reporters before a meeting of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) on Thursday that Iran seeks exemption from any production cuts reached by OPEC because of sanctions imposed by the United States.
"We should be exempted from any decision on future production levels until the illegal sanctions are lifted," Shangani told reporters when he arrived in Vienna.
