Wang Yi said, "China will firmly safeguard its core interests and legitimate right to development, and no one or any force can stop the 1.4 billion Chinese people from striding forward to modernization. Of course, we are always willing to communicate and consult with the US side in a mutually respectful manner and find solutions through equal dialogue for the contradictions and differences in bilateral exchanges. "
